What Kevin Does:

Kevin says his job is to “keep people happy, come up with great ideas and lead.”

Education/Experience:

Kevin majored  in management information sciences from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston in 1999. He graduated from in the Inner City Entrepreneurs’ Streetwise MBA program at Boston University in 2009. Before founding SNS, he was a network engineer for Aegis Associates and Electric Boat and a network administrator at URI. Kevin has five certifications from Cisco System Inc.

“My favorite part of Fire School was learning about Critical Incident Management” 

Lives In:

Easton, New Hampshire, with his wife, Angela,  three children (Andrew, Abigail and Alex), a beagle named Cody-Bubbles, several chickens and two goats, Gus and Glory.

Did You Know?

Kevin likes fire fighting and rescue and will be completing Fire Fighter Training One in April 2013. Over a year ago he joined the Easton, NH Fire Department and is learning and doing more each week. He also enjoys fishing, gardening, boating/sailing, home improvement projects and blues music. Kevin founded SNS after returning from Jazz Fest 2003 in New Orleans.

What Paul Does:

Paul oversees the company’s banking, billing, human resources and payroll and prepares its financial forecasts.

Education/Experience:

Paul started SNS with his brother, Kevin Low, almost 10 years ago in Kevin’s family room in Watertown, Massachusetts. He graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where he majored in criminal justice and sociology and minored in history and computer information systems.

“My favorite thing about SNS is the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful co-workers. I am also fond of the 60-inch TV.”

Did You Know?

He is married and has a daughter and a son. Other things he likes: Summer, golf, fishing, sheds and the beach.

Brad Mirza

Vice President, Sales

What Brad Does:

Brad is responsible for managing relationships with SNS’s clients, distributors and partner companies.

Education/Experience:

Brad received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. He holds sales certifications from Cisco Systems Inc. and Double-Take Software Inc. He joined SNS in 2004 after working for banks in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

“I enjoy working with companies to define their objectives and challenges and then to find a solution that makes a positive impact on their business,”  Brad says.

Did You Know?

Brad married his wife, Jessica, in 2009, four years after they met in the Davis Square neighborhood of Somerville, Massachusetts. They enjoy traveling, watching the Red Sox at Fenway Park, and relaxing at Second Beach in Newport on summer days.

What Ted Does:

Ted helps clients decide how to address their technology infrastructure needs and manages the company’s relationship with technology vendors.

Education/Experience:

Ted earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Rhode Island in Kingston, specializing in management information science. He worked for the IT companies Dimension Data Systems and Atrion Networking before joining SNS in 2008. Ted is working toward his Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) credential.

Charles Sullivan

What Chuck Does:

Chuck manages, designs and implements projects for clients; conducts trainings; makes on-site engineering visits; and participates in sales-related activities.

Education/Experience:

Chuck earned a degree in networks and security from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and started his own information technology consulting business. He joined Team SNS in 2004.

Claire Craig   

Claire Craig

Senior Systems Engineer

 

What Claire Does:

Claire installs, configures and supports server and desktop systems for small- and midsized businesses in the Greater Boston area.

Education/Experience :

Claire received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louisiana State University in her hometown of Baton Rouge and earned a master’s degree, also in psychology, from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. She worked in the field of mental retardation for 25 years before getting her Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) credential and changing careers in 1998. She joined SNS in 2003.

Lives In:

Brookline, Massachusetts, with her partner Stephani and their two adopted sons, 4 and 16. Her older son is a musician and plays futsal, a form of indoor soccer. SNS sponsored his team, which won its championship this year.

Did You Know?

Claire has started playing guitar again. She makes a mean gumbo.

Stephen received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He has the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) credentials. He joined the company in 2004.

Stephen grew up mostly in Troy, New York, and Rosemere, Quebec. He has been married to his wife, Maryellen, for 21 years. They have three children.

As a systems engineer, Josh makes regularly scheduled visits to the facilities of a core group of clients.

Education/Experience:

Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. He also learned a lot from working alongside his father, a master floor installer. He joined SNS in 2003.

Lives In:

Boston, with his wife, Royale, who is a speech pathologist in the Lexington, Massachusetts public school system. They have twins, born in October 2010, who “are growing fast and are an amazing joy.”

What Dan Does:

Dan manages SNS’s help-desk schedule and helps manage and maintain the company’s facilities.

Education/Experience:

Dan joined SNS in 2006. He attended Cranston West High School and the Community College of Rhode Island.

Dan’s younger brother served two tours with the U.S. Army in Iraq and is now a police officer in North Carolina. “I could not be more proud of him and his accomplishments.”

Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in network engineering from Johnson & Wales University in Providence and is a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional: Enterprise Administrator (MCITP: EA). He joined SNS in 2007.

What Charles Does:

Charles provides help-desk support to end users, who bring him issues ranging from the basic to the complex.

Education/Experience:

Charles graduated from the New England Institute of Technology, where he studied network engineering. He’s been with SNS since 2010. He was previously employed by American Power Conversion, where he worked on single-phase battery units and Netbotz security devices.

What Brian Does:

Brian addresses clients technology issues on the SNS help desk.

Education/Experience:

He received a bachelor’s degree from the New England Institute of Technology in network engineering. Before joining SNS in 2010, Brian worked in information technology for PricewaterhouseCoopers and was a help desk engineer for Parametric Technology Corp.

Education/Experience:

Steven studied computer science and mathematics at Northeastern University in Boston and is pursuing Cisco, VMware and Microsoft certifications. He joined SNS in 2004.

What Ryan Does:

Ryan oversees the company’s operational systems, processes and policies, and business analysis.

Education/Experience:

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in environmental and life sciences from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. For 10 years, he was a scientist at Genzyme Corp., where he researched kidney diseases and published papers in journals including Nature Medicine. He joined Team SNS in 2011.

“I play the saxophone in a rock-and-roll band and devote time to yoga several times a week.”

What Matt Does:

Matt provides SNS clients with on site and remote help desk support.

Education/Experience:

Matt graduated with an Associates Degree in Network Engineering from the New England Institute of Technology.  Prior to Joining SNS, Matt worked for Geek Squad providing technical support to clients in their homes as well as in the Best Buy stores.

Andy grew up in Middleboro MA., he also has two brothers and one sister. his older brother recently returned from Holland after 3 years and is a chef. His sister is a traveling RN. His younger brother plays in a rock band. Andy's hobbies and interests include golf, cycling, mountain biking, DJing, traveling, warm weather and a cold beer. He has been a DJ for 10 years and last year opened his own business called Hartbeat Entertainment.

Ashley enjoys scrapbooking, photography, baking, travelling and anything new she can try. After completing four years of college soccer, she became the first woman in New England to play men’s collegiate football and first woman to try out for the NFL (two years in a row). She recently lived in Las Vegas for two years and was the group coordinator for Qua Baths & Spa. Ashley comes from a family of four but her mom is 1 of 12 (so lots of cousins).
