SNS & Rosie’s Place Collaborate to Maintain Mission During COVID
Our SNS team was thrilled to help our client Rosie’s Place design and roll out a custom solution to maintain communication with the women they serve.
In response to the pandemic, Rosie’s Place—a sanctuary for poor and homeless women—moved much of their in-person advocacy services over-the-phone. As the need for Rosie’s Place’s critical assistance with food, rent and much more dramatically increased—so too, did Rosie’s Place’s technology needs.
Our engineers at SNS worked with the leadership at Rosie’s Place to create a technology solution. Using highly customized call-center software, we created a robust communication system (in five different languages). An added benefit was the data that helped Rosie’s Place evaluate what services are needed, especially during the pandemic.
SNS currently assists over 20 nonprofits of varying sizes throughout New England, delivering the uptime, performance and security to maintain their vital missions. We love helping those who help others.
Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Its mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. Today, Rosie’s Place not only provides meals and shelter but also creates answers for thousands of women a year through wide-ranging support, housing and education services.
